Autumn vineyard wedding in Croatia

Autumn wedding Bea & Vanja

Autumn is a colourful and romantic season to get married in, also the perfect season for wine lovers.

Just imagine your wedding ceremony in the open air with picturesque views of vineyards.

This is the perfect combination of love for wine and your wedding.

The wedding planner Ticiana Peteh (The Bloom Room) found inspiration for couple Bea and Vanja for their vineyard wedding.

She chose an ideal place for fall wedding - vineyards in Istria region near Porec in Narduci village (Arman Marijan Winery).

In her decorations we can see warm fall colours with seasonal fruits, such as mature fruits of pomegranate, pumpkins, hazelnuts and flowers.

Wedding dress is made of satin, tiles and lace is signed by Martina Herak, a famous croatian designer from Porec.
This voluminous, layered, five-piece wedding dress is ideally suited the bride.

Unusual traditional wedding bouquet fits perfectly into the whole concept of wedding decor, without the pastel tones and the finishing touches of gentle forms.

The base of this thoughtful bouquet makes fresh oak branches as a symbol of autumn and makes it luxuriant and fluttering.

The dose of wedding elegance still brings white hydrangea, often a classic choice for wedding decoration.

From the micro elements the fragments of scented sage were used the branches of scented sage of tiny red flowers and the smaller ruins of vineyards in full bloom, the purple red, as a contrast to the green oak tones.

The richness of autumn colour and the dynamics of the bouquet are also given by the branches of hawthorn, a small berry fruit in deep dark red colour.

One of the places for a photo session was a secluded place under an oak tree with incredibly beautiful views of the vineyard, where Ticiana decorated the table for cake and champagne.

White cake from the bakery Concettino with 'spatolato' effect simply decorated with red berries of hawthorn and some light grains of pomegranate.

Family vineyards  Arman Marijan are located in the western Istrian vineyards region.

The love for this culture has been influenced by great-grandfather in family history in the 1880s, and the tradition continues with Marijan with his daughters Ines and Nina.

The heart of the estate is made up of a modernly furnished wine cellar and a tasting room that suggests the exclusivity of wine offer with its appearance, capacities and details.

The open terrace is particularly attractive with amazing views on vineyards, where we had romantic dinner for our newlyweds.

There were 2 photographers on this photo shoot: me and my colleague Nina Roland

We have been cooperating for a long time and decided to make such one project together with the same newlyweds, decorations, poses, but each of us with its own perspective and look at the photograph and later at post editing of the pictures.
As it turned out, you can look at Nina's blog on her web.

Here are only my photos.

We got beautiful romantic shots in sunset time.

The soft rays of the sun made their way through the branches of the grapes and our background was multicoloured beautiful autumn leaves of the vineyard.

Slender rows of the grapes visually added volume to the photo.

The central point of the event was the open terrace of the winery, where Ticiana is decorated massive wooden table with warm colours of autumn and seasonal fruits,

in addition to the inevitable candles for a perfect romantic dinner, and a complete experience of a varied gala dinner.
